Knaladeus meaning and Origin

For all of my friends/ Family/ or thoughs who wonder what the heck Knaladeus means, or how to pronounce it?? lol First let me say, A good friend of mines jokingly called me this siting my love of Classic music, like Mozart, Bach, etc. So I eventually adopted it and invented the word from 2 actuall words.. I put it in dictionary style to make it easy lol..

Knaladeus \Kna-la-deus\ the way it is pronounced is Nah-la-DAY-us. It is a combination of the word’s Amadeus (Latin for “G-d’s Love”), and Knowledge. All together the word means “Knowing G-ds Love”.

Selling out!

I cant stand how the industry works now a days! You got to dress in tighter close, wear Brighter colors, and Dumb down your lyrics to a 3rd grader level!... If you say one intelligent Word in your Lyrics people think your too deep.. or hard to follow! It's kind of sad, seems like modern music has lost some type of authenticity!... and thinking! Im not hating on the new music out, or fashion, but come on, really??.. you've got to be kidding me?! Im not dumbing down nothing! or ever selling out!

9-5 by day/Emcee by night

 Music for me sometimes can be a stress releaver.. From, and just every day life.
When I hold tha mic, or pen and perform, or record I feel like as corny as it sounds like a hero.. I may not have many who listen or follow my music, but this gift G-d has given me, makes my existence seem meaningful in a sense...it's like G-d knew exactly what to gift me at, but i cant help but feel deprived from it at work....I guess I work 9-5 by day, and Emcee by night.. -Knaladeus-

The Art

I recently had a convo with a good friend, about how sometimes Hip Hop The Art/Culture gets glorified more amungst Under ground Emcees who rap For G-d, Than G-d does.. and I had to ask myself.Am I doing that??.. Am so concerned with sounding "Dope", or Making sure my lyrical content, or punchlines/ Metaphores are sharper for skill, rather than to reach the lost?..Just a thought...cause no matter what style of music you do, If it's For Messiah, than it's all about the Messiah!

Making it

 Alot of musicians/Artists have this dream of going mainstream, or getting signed or backed by a label, I myself dream of it. But if you do music because you love it, the passion out ways wanting to "Make it".. I mean..who determines whats making it now a days? Who are you allowing to craft your talent, or are you going off of someone elses standard. I struggled with this for years!.. and some time still do, I have to tell myself, no its not about what others think! but in the end..arent we who make music/art doing it for others to wittness..Isnt that the point? or else its just wasted!.. I guess that's the irony of it all though.. just sharing my thoughts..

Artistry

 I find in artistry one should never limit ones self, regardless of lack of, or major demand.
To be a true artist you must first be you, in order for that to happen you must be able to identify yourself. For instance, most people choose to identify by comparison, never try and identify yourself through someone else. Once you identify yourself you've done the easy part! lol.. Create from the heart, and in the end people will value you, in your truth than in trying to simply please them. -Knaladeus
